Intelligent Key Fob have a built-in antenna which transmits a signal when you approach your vehicle or press one of its buttons. Once the vehicle receives the signal it is activated to unlock and lock doors, starting up the engine, or opening the trunk. To test the fob out you must get away from your car and click on the buttons. If the lights flash or the horn sounds then you have successfully programmed your Intelligent Key Fob.
Like all remotes, Intelligent Key fobs require batteries in order to function. If they run out the batteries, our Parts Department can help you to replace it quickly and efficiently. To do this, first remove the key that is hidden from your key fob. Then, open the compartment for its battery. Remove the old battery and then put a new one in its place. Make sure that the positive side of the new battery is facing the same direction as the previous one did. Close the compartment for the battery, and then return the hidden key back to its hidden place within the case.
Remote Start
Nissan remote start lets drivers to heat or cool their vehicles from outside, provided they're within the operating range. All "affected" and "authorized" personnel must be educated on the use of these devices. These devices include, but aren't only restricted to locks, chains and padlocks.
